Cayce Reilly® Massage

60 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $90

The Cayce/Reilly® treatment combines Swedish style massage strokes with rotation of joints and limbs as well as the stimulation and vibration of organs and glands. This signature massage can be both stimulating and relaxing. It affects nerves, organs, glands, circulation, and muscles, and helps the body rid itself of toxins. Cayce/Reilly® massage blends Swedish, osteopathic, and neuropathic massage techniques.

This massage meshes the art and science of massage therapy based on the holistic principles of the Edgar Cayce readings and the clinical experience of the late Dr. Harold J. Reilly. Recognizing, appreciating, and treating the entirety of an individual; mind, body, and spirit to bring these areas into balance.

Swedish Massage

60 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $90

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $90

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Reflexology

60 minutes: $60

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet.

Foot Reflexology is the study and practice of gently pressing reflex points on the feet with specific hand and finger techniques, to relax corresponding parts of the body. Our bodies, with over 27,000 nerve endings on the bottoms of our feet, can be powerfully affected by a thorough session of reflexology. Acupressure provides a bridge between ancient and modern Asian theories using gentle, direct finger pressure on acupuncture points. Acupressure has been shown to relieve stress and tension, reduce pain and discomfort, increase self-awareness, and re-establish the balance of energy between mind and body.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.

A deep tissue modality which utilizes static pressure on specific trigger points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body to balance the central nervous system. Injury, trauma, postural distortion or stress causes nerves to speed up their transmission, inhibiting equilibrium and making the body vulnerable to pain and dysfunction. Neuromuscular work can help stabilize these low levels of neurological activity to maintain normal function and overall health. These techniques will be integrated into the whole-body massage of your choosing.

Jin Shin Do

Jin Shin Do neck and shoulder release takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and is integrated into the whole-body massage of your choosing. This modality is a system of acupressure designed specifically to relieve tension in the neck and shoulders. It lays out a set of 5 "points" along energy pathways of your body. If one of your pathways becomes blocked, this creates stagnation in your energy field and leads to illness or discomfort. I use my hands to gently release any blockages in your energy pathways, and restore balance. Acupressure provides a bridge between ancient and modern Asian theories using gentle, direct finger pressure on acupuncture points. Acupressure has been shown to release stress and tension, reduce pain and discomfort, increase self-awareness, and re-establish the balance of energy between mind and body. The whole experience is very relaxing, nurturing and therapeutic.

Chair Massage

60 minutes: $60

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, typically 10 to 15 minutes per person. A minimum of one-hour booking is required but multiple people may receive therapy during the hour. This would be an ideal treat for gatherings, such as a book or wine tasting club. Please ask if you would like more than one therapist for such an event and I will reach out to other colleagues to ensure your attendees have a fabulous experience.
